A cargo plane broke in half during an emergency landing in Costa Rica on Thursday.

The Juan Santamaria international airport was closed temporarily following the incident involving the Boeing 757-200 cargo aircraft.

DHL, part of Deutsche Post AG, said the crew was unharmed and that one member was undergoing a medical review as a precaution.

Wild video of yet another unruly passenger has gone viral after showing a Las Vegas bartender freaking out before takeoff because a flight attendant wouldn't let her dog sit in her lap. The video shows her throwing a bottle at the attendant, screaming and smashing an onlooker's phone as she's escorted off the plane.

A Republic Airways Embraer E175LR registration N401YX, performing flight RPA4736 from Washington Reagan National Airport, to Raleigh-Durham International Airport.
During taxi was instructed to cross runway 4 at taxiway J but the airplane turned on taxiway F and entered runway 1. Meanwhile a United Airbus A319, registration N819UA, started take-off from runway 1. The Tower controller noticed that and canceled take-off clearance. The landing airplane was instructed to go around from altitude 500 feet.
