Landing at the dusty gravel airport of Kidwell with a Piper Cherokee with a nice 15 plus knot wind straight down the runway.

You can clearly see how slow my ground speed is by the cars over taking me on the highway!

Nancy and her husband bought the land and built the town of Cal-Nev-Ari at the southern most point of Nevada where Nevada meets California and Arizona. Learn about the struggles and sheer hard work to gain government approval of their town and airstrip. Nancy manages the town, owns it, has a casino/restaurant on the property and and has developed a self-contained community. Hear her stories of flying an airplane and her passion of flying.

Cal Nev Ari Nevada--After 51 years of the Kidwell family ownership, much of the community is up for sale for eight million dollars including the Kidwell Airport which was and emergency airport for General George Patton's massive World War II military training complex in the Mohave desert.
