Description
Shearer is a difficult wilderness airstrip locate within the Selway Bitterrott Wildernes on the banks of Idaho's Selway River. The final approach is obscured by a bend in the river, making the approach difficult and rough terrain make the touch point critical. The runway is sloped on the south end.
Camping
Tiedowns are located on the south end of the runway. There are no camping amenities, but camping in the wilderness area is allowd. Tread lightly. Fly it in, fly it out.
